easy-guard fire retardant coating: Designed in partnership with Warrington Fire this life saving product is a must for all communal areas where multiple layers of paint have been allowed to build up. Corridor, stairwell and reception walls often pose a severe Fire Risk. If layers of paint are ignited the flames can chase down a wall faster than most people can run. The Fire Safety Code of Practice states that where these multiple layers of paint exist, walls should either be stripped back to bare plaster (a very expensive operation) or encapsulated with a fire upgrade coating. easy-guard is one such coating and in most cases will upgrade the surface to Class '0' in just two coats. easy-guard is available in any RAL or BS colour to compliment and enhance the living environment.
